We are working with a well-established and highly regarded legal practice based on the outskirts of Manchester. Renowned for its expertise in Conveyancing, Family Law, and other legal services, the firm is continuing to grow and is now seeking a Legal Secretary to join its supportive and professional team.
The Role
You will provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support across multiple departments, playing a key role in the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing day-to-day administrative and secretarial support across departments
- Audio typing a range of legal documents, correspondence, and emails with a high level of accuracy
- Handling incoming client calls, responding to queries, and directing calls appropriately
- Managing diaries, scheduling appointments, and maintaining email correspondence
- Supporting fee earners with general office administration as required
About You
- Previous administration or secretarial experience (legal experience is not essential)
- Strong audio typing and IT skills
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A proactive approach with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Professional, approachable, and client-focused
