City Centre Based. £30,000 - £40,000 DOE. Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
Responsibilities
- Managing a varied caseload of Court of Protection matters, including property and financial affairs.
- Supporting solicitors with deputyship applications, annual reports, and ongoing case management.
- Liaising with clients, families, local authorities, medical professionals, and financial institutions.
- Preparing legal documents, statements, and evidence bundles.
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with Court of Protection and OPG requirements.
Desirables
- This role is ideal for someone with experience supporting vulnerable clients, managing complex caseloads, and working within a legal or social care environment. Previous experience in Court of Protection, financial vulnerability, or supporting clients in financial difficulty is essential.
- Experience in bereavement teams within banks or financial institutions will also prove a strong advantage.
- Solid understanding of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and deputyship processes.
