Forrest Recruitment are seeking a highly organised and detail‐orientated Administrator to join our professional client in Burscough who are specialists in their field. The company is well established and highly regarded in their industry. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing, multi‐million pound turnover business who see their employees as their biggest asset! This role is based at the Head Office and involves supporting the Office Manager in terms of providing comprehensive administration support to the business, welcoming visitors to the office and assisting with building facilities management.

Responsibilities

  • Organising onsite meeting rooms and booking travel arrangements (using a set supplier)
  • Completing data entry and maintaining accurate records
  • Assisting to allocate mobile phone handsets to new starters using a portal and Excel
  • Managing the return of company mobile phones from leavers and putting back in stock on the system
  • Maintaining manual and electronic filing systems including off site archiving
  • Greeting and welcoming visitors in a professional, friendly manner
  • Managing the switchboard – answering/transferring calls, taking messages and providing information to callers
  • Assisting with general administration tasks – photocopying, scanning and managing Outlook calendars
  • Managing incoming/outgoing post for the business
  • Maintaining office supplies and placing orders
  • Assisting Office Manager with building facilities management, recording service records and scheduling appointments with contractors

Working hours

Monday to Friday – 27.5 hours (across 5 days)
