An opportunity has arisen to join a successful organisation within their Sales Support team. This is a mixture of customer services and administration, NO inbound or outbound sales calls are involved! It is working 40.5 hours across 5 days per week. Tuesday and Wednesday 9am-4pm, Thursday and Friday 7am-5pm and Saturday 6am-3pm. (After a 6 month successful probation period, Saturdays can be worked from home). Or, you can do half day on Tuesday, and then Thurs-Sat (same hours as above). This would be 31 hours per week in total.
The role will be split giving support to three different departments on different days as follows:
- Tuesday (half a day) Duties will be supporting the Accounts team:
- Processing invoices and payments (no previous Accounts experience needed - just need to be good with numbers)
- Tuesday (1/2 day) and Wednesday, Duties will be supporting a team of 4 Loss Assessors:
- Liaising with customers to advise and update them on the progress of their case
- Scheduling appointments for Surveyors and other 3rd party appointments
- Updating client case notes
- Corresponding via telephone, email and letter
- Thursday, Friday and Saturdays, Duties will be Admin support to the Sales team:
- Carrying out research on social media and other sources, tracking down potential leads to pass to the sales team to follow up
- Internal and external calls to the sales team and external parties – not sales calls
- Responding to emails
- Creating letters/documents
To be successful, you will have excellent IT and communication skills and be a strong team player. Previous customer service and administration experience is essential.
