Bill Validation Analyst – Permanent – Haydock – £26k-£27k

They offer a range of services to businesses across the UK and are recruiting due to continued expansion, so this is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving company. Working within a modern, open plan office they are looking for someone with previous commercial energy billing experience to validate, manage and report on client\’s energy bills.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring all data is collected accurately from suppliers
- Understanding and analysing commercial energy bills to identify potential billing errors
- Producing weekly and monthly validation reports on Excel
- Handling supplier invoice queries and resolving issues/objections
- Managing the set up of new clients on the bespoke portal
- Processing change of address details
- Liaising with other departments to chase up missing data
- Monitoring SLA\’s and ensuring that client deadlines are met
- Supporting Account Managers on client visits/meetings
Working Hours:
- 37 hours per week (Monday-Friday)

The company are seeking someone with a sound understanding of the elements of a utility bill (gas, electricity, water) and the associated terminologies. The ideal candidate must be confident on Excel, be technically-minded and comfortable handling high volumes of data.Previous experience of working in the energy industry within commercial billing is essential for this role.
