Our client is an establishment who has a rich local history and has provided a constant source of service to locals and visitors alike. They are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Events Manager who can bring a wealth of experience and knowledge following working in ever changing environments, ideally within the hospitality sector. Taking full responsibility for internal and external functions, you will ensure that each person in attendance comes away having a great experience either as a first time or repeat visitor.
- Overseeing events end-to-end and managing event follow ups
- Liaising with prospective venue users; discussing package options, providing quotes and securing bookings
- Manage events diary to maximise venue use and profitability
- Working to client briefs to ascertain numbers of staff required across food & beverage teams
- Liaising with Chefs to curate menus and other catering plans
- Working closely with operational teams and suppliers to ensure all requirements are organised prior to the event
- Coordinating event activities and managing full room set up; entertainment, decorations, AV equipment
- Assisting with social media promotions and updates to enhance outreach and encourage more business
- Managing billing and income queries and documentation
You will have experience working within a similar role and have a passion for organisation and delivering excellent experiences.
