Forrest Recruitment are delighted to be working with our client, a well-established business within the automotive industry, who are looking to recruit a Rental Sales Advisor to join their team in Chester City Centre.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in sales, administration and customer service who enjoys working with customers and thrives in a busy, varied environment.
Please note: this role requires Saturday morning working and applicants must hold a full UK driving licence.
The Role
As a Rental Sales Advisor, you will be responsible for delivering a friendly and professional service to customers throughout their rental experience. You will play an important role in ensuring vehicles are available, prepared and managed efficiently, while maximising customer satisfaction and sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and provide a friendly, professional service
- Handle vehicle collections and returns, including carrying out vehicle inspections
- Process reservations, rental agreements and payments accurately
- Explain rental agreements, terms and conditions clearly to customers
- Identify opportunities to promote additional products and services
- Handle customer queries and complaints professionally, resolving issues wherever possible
- Liaise with internal departments to manage fleet availability and vehicle maintenance
- Ensure all relevant administration and records are completed accurately
- Support the smooth day-to-day operation of the rental service
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience within sales and customer service or a similar customer-facing environment.
You will be:
- A confident and effective communicator
- Customer-focused with a professional and approachable manner
- Organised and able to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment
- Reliable, flexible and willing to work Saturday mornings
- Comfortable working as part of a team
- Commercially aware, with the confidence to promote additional products and services
- A full UK driving licence holder
