A globally scaled technology business is seeking a Principal Engineer to define the next generation of its API platform. Operating at significant scale, this is a hands-on engagement with real influence over the architectural direction of a critical engineering pillar.
Key responsibilities as a Principal Engineer:
- Defining and driving the architectural vision for a large-scale API ecosystem
- Designing cloud-native distributed systems at scale
- Building high-throughput event-driven services
- Leading on security, observability, performance, and maintainability
- Championing TDD, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and automated testing
- Embedding AI-powered capabilities into engineering workflows

- AWS (EKS, Lambda, Aurora RDS)
- Kubernetes
