We’re looking for a Head of Product to lead and own our product and service portfolio, overseeing both New Product Development (NPD) and the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of existing offerings. This is a senior leadership role, accountable for the overall performance, governance, and output of NPD. You will lead and develop a team including Product & Innovation Project Managers and Designers, who are responsible for day-to-day development, while you retain ultimate accountability for outcomes, decisions, and delivery at pace.
- Overall performance and output of the NPD Team
- Commercial viability of all products in development
- Effective application of the ‘NPD Playbook’ and stage-gate controls
- Ensure all development is grounded in real customer needs and market demand
- Govern the full NPD lifecycle, in accordance with our NPD Playbook
- Review data, validation, and business cases to make investment decisions
- Lead, support, and challenge the NPD Team to deliver high-quality outputs
- Monitor performance through key metrics including time-to-market, pipeline value, and revenue contribution
Product & Innovation Project Managers – owns day-to-day project delivery, coordination, and progress tracking.
Designers – responsible for design development, prototyping, and product documentation aligned with real-world application and commercial goals.
Proven experience leading a NPD, product, or innovation functions at a senior level.
Experience operating within structured, stage-gate development environments.
Ability to make clear, data-driven decisions under uncertainty.
