Software Engineering Manager – Mobile (Android) Travel-Tech Central London – 2 days per week onsite We’ve partnered with a market leading scale-up within the Travel Tech space who are seeking a Software Engineering Manager to play leading role in a squad of high performing mobile engineers focused on building a scalable application used by millions. As a Software Engineering Manager, you’ll be tasked with leading a leading a team of 5 Mobile Engineers while being the technical pillar in the team in terms of Android Development – remaining hands-on with Kotlin development and ideally able to work well on iOS. As a Software Engineering Manager, you will have the following: Demonstrable senior expertise in Android Development & Architecture – Kotlin, Jetpack Technical Leadership experience – ability to direct a team to a common goal in engineering and uphold engineering best practices (Agile, testing) Team Leadership – align with business goals and motivate a high-performing squad of engineers focused on developing a scalable application Experience with Swift based iOS development is also a plus In terms of the package: Salary up to £115,000 + 10% Bonus Impressive Central London Office – 2 days per week onsite Life assurance Flexible/hybrid working Work from anywhere up to 4 weeks a year Personal learning budget This is an incredible opportunity for a driven Software Engineering Manager to join a successful Scale up and lead an expert team of Mobile Engineers.
