A renowned cybersecurity company is seeking an experienced Contract Product Owner to support the delivery of a cloud-native programme for an enterprise end client. As a Contract Product Owner, you will be jointly responsible for the delivery of a defined workstream within a wider programme of work. Working closely with a Programme Manager, you will manage stakeholder and client requirements, support a technically strong delivery team, and ensure work is delivered effectively within a pre-defined scope. You will act as the key link between business, customers, and engineering, helping shape and prioritise work while promoting the value of the programme within the client organisation.

Skills & Key Requirements:

  • Product ownership and backlog prioritisation for a defined workstream
  • Strong stakeholder and client management
  • Delivery-focused mindset within a pre-defined programme scope
  • Agile delivery experience using Jira and Confluence
  • Close collaboration with software and platform engineering teams
  • Good technical understanding of cloud-native or container-based environments (non-hands-on)
  • Strong customer and user-centric thinking
  • Ability to manage risk and respond to changing priorities
  • Clear, confident communication across technical and non-technical teams
  • Pragmatic approach with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Ideally, you will have experience working within financial services or other highly regulated environments.

Contract Details:

  • Day rate: £400 per day (Outside IR35)
  • Contract length: 9 months (extension likely)
  • Location: Fully remote (UK-based candidates only)
