Overview

Our client is embarking on a major ERP transformation, bringing together global operations and teams onto a unified, future-ready platform. As a Data Migration Analyst, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the successful transition of finance and operational data into the new ERP system.

Working closely with the Data Manager, Finance Analyst, implementation partners, and regional teams, you’ll help design, validate, and execute the migration strategy ensuring data is accurate, compliant, and ready for go-live. You’ll take ownership of mapping, cleansing, governance, and validation activities across multiple data streams, supporting one of the most significant technology programmes in our organisation’s history.

Data Migration Analyst Responsibilities

• Support the Data Manager in defining and managing the end-to-end ERP data migration approach.
• Execute data mapping between legacy systems and the new ERP, ensuring consistency and compliance with financial and operational structures.
• Collaborate with Finance and Technology teams to align mapping with master data, chart of accounts, vendors, customers, and other finance-related datasets.
• Co-ordinate data extraction, transformation, and loading activities, maintaining documentation and version control throughout each migration cycle.
• Lead site-level data cleansing and validation to ensure data readiness for testing and production environments.
• Reconcile migrated data between source and target systems, ensuring completeness and accuracy.

Experience

• Proven experience delivering data migration within ERP or large-scale transformation programmes, NetSuite in particular.
• Strong understanding of finance and operational data domains such as master data, chart of accounts, vendors, and customers.
• Demonstrable experience in data mapping, cleansing, transformation, and validation across multiple systems.
• Experience supporting data cutover, reconciliation, and post-migration validation activities.
• Solid understanding of data governance and quality management principles.
• Skilled in using Excel, SQL, or data profiling tools to analyse and manipulate datasets.
• Comfortable collaborating with third-party vendors and global business stakeholders.
• Degree or equivalent experience in Data Management, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
