A fast-growing tech company focused on building modern, scalable software solutions that help businesses operate more efficiently is seeking a Contract Technical Product Owner. This role requires someone who can translate complex business problems into clear, structured requirements for the engineering team and bring the product vision to life. As the Technical Product Owner, you will work directly with the CEO and COO, operating at the intersection of product, business, and engineering. You will collaborate closely with the founders and C-suite to define product strategy and help shape the company’s vision at an early stage. We are looking for a strong communicator with proven start-up experience who can effectively bridge the gap between product and engineering teams, while being comfortable operating within regulated financial environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a practical product roadmap
  • Produce high-level business requirement documents, including board-ready materials
  • Work closely with engineers to shape early product architecture
  • Contribute to 0→1 product development in a fast-moving environment

Experience

  • Experience in product, technical product ownership, or business analysis
  • Strong finance domain knowledge is essential
  • Experience operating in regulated financial environments
  • Background in early-stage start-ups, building products from the ground up
