An innovative SaaS company delivering modern media infrastructure solutions is looking for a Cloud Systems Engineer to join their growing engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of cloud computing and media technology - helping to build and support secure, high-performance platforms used by creative and media-focused teams globally.

The Role

  • Engineer and maintain robust, scalable cloud infrastructure for high-performance media workflows
  • Automate deployment and provisioning using infrastructure-as-code tools
  • Troubleshoot media-specific issues (transcoding, file delivery, metadata handling)
  • Provide 2nd/3rd line technical support and collaborate across engineering, support, and vendor teams
  • Contribute to runbooks, disaster recovery plans, and architectural documentation
  • Leverage scripting and low-code tools to streamline internal operations
  • Continuously optimise performance, security, and cost across services

The Requirements

  • 3+ years in a Cloud / Systems Engineering (ideally in media/post-production/broadcast)
  • Experience managing cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or IBM Cloud)
  • Strong Linux admin skills and media format/transcoding knowledge (e.g., MXF, ProRes, H.264)
  • Familiarity with Media Asset Management platforms and media-centric SaaS
  • Experience with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, and IaC (Terraform)
  • Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
  • Certifications in AWS, GCP, or IBM Cloud
