b Overview /b p In this role you own end-to-end product compliance for a hardware portfolio across UK, EU, and US, bringing certification in-house. You will partner with engineering to embed compliance early, drive approvals with labs and notified bodies, and maintain audit-ready technical files and declarations. You’ll enable market expansion by translating regulations into actionable guidance for engineers and ensuring launches stay on track. This role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, and compliance with a strong impact on sales enablement. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li own product compliance across the full range and drive certification for UK, EU, and US /li li manage external test labs and notified bodies, handling failures and retests to avoid launch delays /li li build and maintain technical files and Declarations of Conformity to audit-ready standards /li li translate regulatory requirements into actionable guidance for engineers /li li lead compliance initiatives from design through to launch /li li support sales by enabling access to new markets and removing roadblocks /li li work closely with engineering and product teams to shape specifications with compliance in mind /li li keep abreast of regulatory changes and implement updates across products /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li substantial experience owning product compliance or quality engineering for electrical or electronic hardware with full ownership /li li expert working knowledge of CE marking across EMC, Low Voltage, Machinery and radio, plus RoHS and UKCA /li li evidence of taking products through certification from design stage to launch /li li experience managing external test labs and notified bodies, including handling failures and retests /li li comfortable building and maintaining technical files and DoCs for audit readiness /li li ability to read regulatory text and translate into actionable guidance for engineers /li /ul ul li strong communication and translation skills /li li cross-functional collaboration /li li problem-solving and root-cause analysis /li li CE marking (EMC, Low Voltage, Machinery, Radio) /li li RoHS /li li UKCA /li /ul
