We are working with a major sports organisation who are building out a brand new function within their product team, focused on transforming the internal systems that run the business. This is a genuine greenfield opportunity. The role sits within the Technology Products and Delivery team and reports directly into the Head of Product, with real scope to shape and build the internal systems product function from the ground up.
Rather than customer-facing applications, you would own the digital solutions supporting corporate functions across HR, Finance, Procurement, Legal and Operations. There is a strong pipeline of work ahead, including a major new ERP implementation, the ongoing rollout of a global HR platform, and AI integration across legal and contract processes.
What you will own:
- Product vision, roadmap and priorities across People, Finance, Procurement and Operations
- End to end product lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design through to testing and deployment
- Integrations between corporate systems and wider enterprise platforms, working closely with Enterprise Architecture
- Governance around change control, security and data protection
- Relationships with technology vendors and third party delivery partners
- Budget tracking and cost effective delivery
- Driving adoption of new technology through training, communication and support
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience delivering product or technology for HR, Finance or ERP systems
- Strong understanding of core business processes across HR and Finance
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, with the confidence to present to and work alongside senior executives including CFO and CTO level
- Comfortable delivering to tight deadlines and within budget
- Knowledge of data privacy and compliance standards including GDPR
- Experience of Agile or SAFe delivery
If you want to build a product function inside a major, high profile organisation, with genuine ownership over the systems that keep the whole business running, then this is one worth exploring.
