We are looking for a Trainee FP&A Analyst to join our Finance team. Reporting into our FP&A Manager, Commercial, this role will support the commercial finance team deliver the annual financial planning and analyst cycle.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Preparation and population of departmental budget and forecast templates.
  • Preparation of monthly department reports.
  • Regular liaison with departments to ensure they are working within cost budgets.
  • Supporting departments with ad hoc FP&A related queries.

We will support you through obtaining an accountancy qualification (e.g. CIMA), including tuition fees, materials, and time off to study.

Other

  • To complete all mandatory training within specified timelines.
  • To always operate safely in line with Company health and safety requirements.
  • To undertake other duties within your capabilities as your Department Manager or Team Manager may assign to you from time to time.

Personal Qualities

  • Able to work with a high level of integrity and confidentiality.

Essential Qualifications

  • Educated to degree level (minimum 2:1 or equivalent). Final-year students with a predicted 2:1 or above are encouraged to apply.
  • A-Level results (or equivalent) of ABB or above, with Mathematics desirable but not essential.
  • GCSE Mathematics (or equivalent) at grade 6 (B) or above is essential.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Excellent numeracy and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both individually and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
