We are seeking a proactive and detail-orientated HR Systems Analyst to join our HR Systems team. This role will be pivotal in maintaining, optimising, and evolving our Workday platform to support HR operations and strategic initiatives. The successful candidate will ensure system integrity, support users and continuously improve our instance of Workday. In addition, the role-holder will be a key member of the contingent-workforce management project.
Key Responsibilities- Play a key role in Workday configuration, maintenance, and enhancements across the following modules: HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Absence, Time Tracking, Talent Optimisation, Learning, Help, Journeys, Recruiting, Candidate Engagement and HiredScore.
- Support the contingent-workforce management project, which involves sourcing and implementing a systems solution for the administration of F1’s contractors.
- Participate in the ongoing gathering of business requirements, in order to design, test, and deploy suitable Workday solutions.
- Collaborate with the broader HR team, IT, and our external partners to implement new features, troubleshoot issues, and deliver system upgrades.
- Support user access and security roles in line with audit and compliance requirements.
- Analyse and interpret data to support HR reporting and decision-making, including the development of custom reports and dashboards.
- Support Workday-related projects, including integrations with third-party systems.
- Provide training and guidance to users and stakeholders to ensure effective system use.
- Document system configurations and maintain training materials and end-user guides.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify opportunities for optimisation and automation, including data review and cleanse.
- Perform data uploads into Workday utilising Enterprise Interface Builders (EIBs).
- Support the deployment of Workday’s bi-annual releases.
- A minimum of three years’ experience working in similar HRIS or HR Systems Analyst roles.
- Good understanding of Workday security, business processes, and reporting tools.
- Experience with supporting system integrations and working with technical teams, including third-party AMS (Application Management Services) providers.
- Degree in HR, Business, Computer Science, or related field, with either a 1st or a 2:1.
- Ideally, holding a Workday Pro certification in at least one of the following: HCM, Security, Reporting, Payroll, Benefits, Absence, Time Tracking, and Recruiting.
- Good knowledge of contingent-workforce management parameters (IR35, for example).
- Experience with using project management methodologies.
- Experience with audit processes and compliance standards related to HR systems, primarily SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) and its related principles.
