We are recruiting for a Customer Data Product Manager to join our IT team at our Biggin Hill Media & Technology Centre. Reporting into the Head of Customer Data Operations, this role is centred in data engineering and partner code review.
Main Duties and Responsibilities- Product roadmap for customer data products—sequencing initiatives that maximise business value and accelerate data maturity.
- Partner management: orchestrate delivery across engineering, data science and vendors to hit deadlines and quality bars.
- Data foundations: oversee ingestion pipelines (Airflow, DBT, Glue) into AWS S3 and Redshift, ensuring reliability, scalability and compliance.
- Enablement: make data accessible and useful for Insights, Marketing and Commercial teams—dashboards, APIs, curated datasets.
- Business engagement: work directly with Marketing and Commercial stakeholders to capture needs, shape requirements and prioritise features.
- Value proof: define and track metrics for engagement success, commercial uplift and operational efficiency; publish quarterly impact reviews.
- Agentic AI: identify and deliver automation opportunities that cut cycle times and raise productivity across data workflows.
- Governance & safety: enforce standards for privacy, security and ethical AI use in all data products.
- Speed: Weeks, not months, from idea to impact.
- Quality: Reliable, observable data products with zero‑touch rollback.
- Value: Clear, attributable gains in engagement, revenue or cost‑to‑serve.
- Safety: No compromise on compliance or brand trust.
- Proven experience as a Product Manager or Data Product Owner in analytics, data platforms or customer data domains.
- Hands‑on familiarity with AWS stack (S3, Redshift) and orchestration tools (Airflow, DBT, Glue).
- Strong understanding of data modelling, identity resolution and activation use cases.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and prioritise ruthlessly.
- Comfort with metrics, experimentation and ROI storytelling.
- Excellent stakeholder management across marketing, commercial and technical teams.
- A self-start with ambition, drive and creativity.
- Passionate about people and data.
- Able to translate tech talk into simple to understand soundbites.
- Highly articulate (both written and verbal).
- Comfort with operating at all levels of the operation.
