The predicted salary is between 34740 - 42460 £ per year.
All MOT Testers must hold a valid MOT Tester licence which is issued by the DVSA. Responsibilities include:
- Carrying out MOT tests to DVSA standard and inputting the details on the DVSA computer system.
- Fitting any product specified by the Company to customer vehicles and carrying out a range of ancillary services.
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the Centre and its equipment on an ongoing basis.
- Increasing sales of products and services offered by the Company, in accordance with procedures.
- Adhering to the Company's Policy & Procedures.
- Complying with reasonable instructions from Management.
The company will supply you with uniform, which must be clean and presentable at all times. You should be available for work at the times specified by the Company.
The ideal candidate will have a flexible approach to tasks and be able to manage their own workload. They should be an excellent communicator with proven experience of working in a busy retail environment in an automotive setting. The main objective of the role will be to MOT test light vehicles as set out by DVSA in a safe and efficient manner.
The successful candidate will be part of a small team but should be equally happy working on their own and should take great pride in carrying out tasks to an extremely high standard.
The Company's normal opening times are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6.00pm, Saturday 8.30am to 5.00pm, and Sunday 10.00am to 4.00pm. Working hours to be discussed at interview.
Salary: Dependent on experience.
