The Role: Are you a seasoned logistics and operations leader ready to orchestrate the access and security framework for the world’s most dynamic racing series? We are looking for a Senior Accreditation Manager to join our team. This isn’t just an administrative role; it is a mission-critical position where you will serve as a strategic service-partner, redefining the accreditation function into a seamless, “low-friction” enabling service that empowers our teams to deliver world-class motorsport events without delay. Reporting to the Safety, Security & Resilience (SSR) Director, you will act as the vital bridge between the organisation’s leadership, internal departments and high-profile global stakeholders like the FIA, balancing meticulous long-term planning with high-energy on-site execution to ensure our access-control operations run with absolute security and operational agility.
- Strategic Partnership & Access Control: Lead the Accreditation department to deliver a robust access-control framework while acting as a proactive partner to all ecosystem participants. You will work hand-in-hand with internal stakeholders to anticipate their needs, remove administrative friction and ensure security protocols enhance rather than hinder the event experience.
- Integrated Logistics & System Innovation: Drive the software development for our global Accreditation System, prioritising user experience and streamlined processes. You will execute the departmental strategy for mass production and worldwide logistics, aligning with strict SSR standards while remaining agile enough to adapt to shifting business and on-the-ground needs.
- On-Site Leadership & Financial Oversight: Travel internationally to spearhead on-site operations during high-pressure race weekends. You will manage and mentor a dedicated, high-impact team (including an Accreditation Manager and Coordinator), maintain an open-door policy for cross-functional stakeholders and handle departmental budgeting, forecasting and sustainable tendering processes.
What we're looking for in you:
- The Accreditation Specialist: You possess substantial project management experience within the international events or sports industry, specifically managing complex, large-scale logistical operations. You have a comprehensive understanding of the operational interdependencies between security, hospitality and sporting functions.
- The Relational Account Manager: You have a proven track record of managing high-level stakeholder relationships (such as race teams, local authorities and governing bodies like the FIA) where balancing strict sporting/security protocols with a “client-first” delivery mindset is essential.
- The Resilient Problem-Solver: You are an analytical, agile thinker with a “can-do” attitude who thrives under pressure. You maintain a calm, accessible and proactive presence during the fast-paced nature of live race weekends, resolving conflicts and critical deliverables through teamwork and exceptional diplomatic skills.
- The Precision Innovator: Your attention to detail across logistics, inventory control and technical system development is flawless. You possess a strong grasp of process improvement, know how to leverage technology to enhance the user journey and maintain a solid understanding of GDPR and data privacy regulations for global participant data.
- The Global Ambassador: You are fluent in English with excellent communication skills (a second language is highly desirable) and are ready to take your career to the world’s most iconic circuits. You possess the flexibility and drive required to travel extensively throughout the international race season.
What’s in it for you?
- 25 days’ annual leave, Birthday day off and Wellbeing leave
- Opportunity to extend your stay if travelling for a race event
- Health Cash Plan and access to the Aviva Digital Workplace app
- Enhanced Parental Leave
- Flexible Bank Holidays
- Paid volunteer and car’s leave
- Cycle to Work and Electric Car Scheme
- Formula E store discount
- Regular social events and employee working groups
