Overview
Sales Director (Europe) – Independent contractor basis, base location flexible within the UK / Germany / Spain / Netherlands. Compensation: €100,000 base salary with a competitive OTE bonus.
Role Summary
Senior regional ambassador for Formula E, responsible for driving commercial growth across Europe. Balances leading a high‑performing sales team with direct business development, closing deals and representing the brand at industry events.
Key Responsibilities
- Regional Revenue: ensure 100% delivery of cumulative revenue targets across all European races and identify cross‑market opportunities.
- Direct Deal Origination & High‑Level Ambassadorship: personally identify and close significant local sponsorship and trackside activation deals; represent Formula E in press interviews, panels and launches.
- Leadership, Mentorship & Operational Synergy: lead a diverse team of in‑market sales managers, drive accountability and development; act as regional conduit for global sales, marketing and media teams.
Qualifications
- Senior commercial sales experience within sports, media or entertainment; proven track record of closing sponsorship or activation deals; deep network across major European markets.
- Empathetic and decisive leader with remote team management skills; motivational and field‑based coaching; cultural agility across Europe.
- Diplomatic visionary with strong communication skills; ability to align diverse stakeholders and operate at both strategic and operational levels.
- Adaptable global ambassador comfortable with frequent travel and the fast‑paced racing calendar; confident, personable and articulate in front of cameras or industry panels.
