Ready to jumpstart your career? Strap in, we are looking for a passionate and dedicated part-time Safeguarding and Resilience Coordinator to join our unique mission.
The Safeguarding & Resilience Coordinator will support the Safety, Security & Resilience (SSR) Director by owning the effective day-to-day coordination and implementation of our Safeguarding and Resilience processes throughout the Championship, and our organisation as a whole.
Responsibilities will include:
- Acting as the day-to-day liaison for the business on our Safeguarding processes.
- Collaborating with the workforce planning team to plan and implement local safeguarding checks/vetting for relevant roles within the local workforce deployment for each race.
- Coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure our safeguarding procedures are effectively implemented throughout all relevant events and activations.
- Proactively liaising with internal stakeholders to plan and implement the required safeguarding controls for race event activations, including FIA Girls on Track and Inspiration Hour activations.
- Collaborating with relevant internal and external stakeholders to collate, create and distribute the Event Control Pack for each race.
What we’re looking for in you:
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about safeguarding and resilience, and who is committed to promoting a safe and inclusive environment. Ideally you’ll have:
- An understanding of basic safeguarding measures and principles.
- While experience in safeguarding/business resilience/events roles is beneficial, it’s not essential. We encourage applications from individuals with transferable skills and a willingness to learn.
- Experience implementing procedures at the operational level, with the ability to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders.
- A basic understanding of budgeting processes and spend tracking.
- Experience in analysing data to produce reports.
- Ability to communicate confidently and build positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
- Flexibility to travel to 1 or 2 race locations per year, with the understanding this may involve working days outside of the normal routine.
Please note that this is a part-time role of 3 days per week, therefore the salary shown will be pro-rata to part-time hours.
