The Role: Are you a high‑octane procurement leader ready to master the logistics of the world’s most innovative racing series? We are looking for a Senior Race Procurement Manager to join the Formula E team. This isn’t just a management role; it is a mission‑critical position where you will orchestrate the end‑to‑end delivery of world‑class racing events across the globe. Reporting to the Procurement Director, you will be the expert champion for our department, managing a dedicated team of Race Procurement Managers. You collaborate on the development of the strategic procurement plan for each race location, ensuring that while the cars are pushing the limits of technology, our supply chain is pushing the limits of efficiency, compliance, and sustainability.

  • Strategic Race Leadership & Command: You lead the "ground game" across multiple international race weekends. From managing the end‑to‑end tender process for race‑related work packages to defining venue usage obligations and drawings, you ensure every detail is perfectly aligned. You don’t just manage a team; you coach them to seek out cost‑reduction opportunities and drive peak performance across every race on the calendar.
  • Contract Execution & On‑Site Precision: You are the pulse point for on‑site operations. You oversee the drafting of contract documents, negotiate deviations with legal, and monitor local supplier performance against contractual deliverables in real‑time. Whether resolving complex contract disputes or managing package re‑measurements through a formal change control process, you ensure our financial and legal interests are protected from the starting grid to the final account.
  • Executive Reporting & Stakeholder Synergy: You are the single point of escalation and accountability. You provide the Procurement Director with high‑level updates, red‑flagging risks before they escape and reporting on overall performance of your direct reports. By partnering with internal departments and evaluation panels, you ensure that initiatives are communicated effectively and implemented with precision across the Championship's broader ecosystem.

What we're looking for in you:

  • The Procurement Specialist: You possess extensive procurement experience, specifically managing end‑to‑end tender processes and navigating diverse international markets. You understand the high‑pressure environment of world‑class events and have a demonstrable track record of acting as a champion for sustainability within a corporate ecosystem.
  • The Influential Coach: You are a natural leader with a "can‑do" mentality and a passion for team development. You possess the coaching abilities to mentor Race Procurement Managers, setting ambitious, measurable goals that drive both individual and departmental success. You thrive in ambiguity and possess the global and cultural alertness needed to lead in a multi‑country environment.
  • The Technical Expert: Your contract management and negotiation skills are second to none. Whether you are securing "best and final" offers or identifying risk items for mitigation, your judgment is sound and your attention to detail is impeccable. You are comfortable with figures, administrative proficiency, and the oversight of complex procurement trackers across multiple concurrent events.
  • The Strategic Architect: You have a strategic mindset and the ability to build scalable, agile procurement plans. You collaborate seamlessly across legal, finance, and event teams to ensure agreed payment terms are met and budget conclusions are delivered with accuracy. You are an expert at translating complex operational needs into flawlessly executed procurement strategies.

What's in it for you:

  • 25 days' annual leave, Birthday day off and Wellbeing leave
  • Opportunity to extend your stay if travelling for a race event
  • Health Cash Plan and access to the Aviva Digital Workplace app
  • Enhanced Parental Leave
  • Flexible Bank Holidays
  • Paid volunteer and carer's leave
  • Cycle to Work and Electric Car Scheme
  • Formula E store discount
  • Regular social events and employee working groups

This is a hybrid role and you'll be required to do 3 days a week in our Hammersmith London office. We will provide equal opportunities regardless of an individual's protected characteristics. We believe in attracting and retaining diverse talent to strengthen our global vision with a variety of experiences, backgrounds and perspectives.
