This is a Maternity Cover for 10-12 months. Are you a broadcast specialist with the operational grit to deliver elite sports television on a global stage? We are looking for a proactive, organised Broadcast Services Manager to serve as the vital link between Formula E, our host broadcaster and international rights-holders. From the planning phase to the high-stakes environment of a live street-circuit paddock, you will oversee the facilitation of our world-class media partners. In this role, you are orchestrating a complex ecosystem where timing is everything. You will bridge the gap between production strategy and on-site execution, managing international suppliers and diverse broadcast requirements. You can deliver an excellent service to rights holders through detailed planning and organisation and provide calm support during the intensity of a live race weekend. This position is based in London and involves significant international travel.
- Operational Delivery & Partner Facilitation: As a key lead in the Broadcast function, you will own the on-site experience for international rights-holders. You will manage day-to-day operations, from facilitating bespoke content shoots to running the production support desk with a calm, proactive approach. You will ensure all broadcast assets, from satellite details to venue way-finding, are accurate, accessible and delivered in line with strict race-day timelines.
- Project Management & Technical Integration: You will represent the FE Broadcast team at large-scale planning meetings, overseeing multiple race events at different stages of delivery. You are responsible for building complex delivery schedules, ensuring suppliers align with interdependent departments and supporting new production innovations. Your role is to ensure the quality and efficiency of our output remains at the cutting edge of sports media.
- Governance & Production Administration: You will take end-to-end ownership of the administrative broadcast backbone. This includes raising POs, building presentations and compiling detailed post-race reports. You will ensure all on-site setups comply with UK Health & Safety legislation and meet Formula E’s rigorous contractual SLAs, ensuring a seamless integration between technical venue drawings and live production requirements.
What we're looking for in you:
- The Broadcast Specialist: You have strong experience in the delivery of large-scale broadcast products. You possess a deep understanding of broadcast rights holders, distribution platforms and live production environments. This role would suit a Production Coordinator or Broadcast Coordinator ready to make the next step up.
- The Meticulous Coordinator: You are an organisational powerhouse with "emotional dexterity." You can manage multi-skilled crews and diverse international clients in high-pressure, changing cultural environments while maintaining calmness and understanding.
- The Resilient Lead: You are a proactive "fixer" who thrives under the pressure of a live event. You are a clear communicator and ready to embrace the international travel required to deliver a world-class championship to millions of fans.
