Are you ready to make your mark in the world of Formula 1? At Formula 1, we are passionate about delivering the world’s greatest sports and entertainment spectacle, leaving a positive legacy wherever we race. Innovation has always been at the heart of what we do since our first Grand Prix in 1950. Now, 75 years on, the sport remains a pioneer, developing technologies that have made a significant impact on society beyond the track.

Everything you see on screen or at an event comes via our passionate and dedicated people, working across engineering, broadcast, legal, logistics, security, event management, commercial, media rights, marketing, and communications to maximise the potential of the sport. We are looking for an Analytics Manager to join our Marketing team. You will lead the development and delivery of data‑driven insights to support strategic decision‑making and business growth for F1 TV, overseeing analytics initiatives across commercial, product, and marketing functions to ensure data is leveraged effectively to enhance performance and fan engagement.

F1 TV is a premier sports streaming service, delivering live and on‑demand content to fans globally. As Data Analytics Manager, you will collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to drive business value through data, shaping the analytics roadmap, ensuring high‑quality insights, and embedding data into decision‑making processes across the organisation.

The role requires someone who can blend technical expertise (SQL, data modelling) with strong business acumen (subscription economics, forecasting, marketing/product impact), manage agencies, and communicate effectively across all levels of stakeholders. Success will be determined by the implementation of comprehensive analytical solutions that provide valuable insights critical in the data‑driven decision‑making process.

We’re looking for an analyst with an entrepreneurial spirit to join us at this exciting time and help take the next step forward in our analytics capabilities.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Act as the subject matter expert on subscription data, consumption metrics, reporting methodologies and revenue forecasting.
  • Brief and oversee agency execution on F1 TV data modelling, ensuring stakeholder needs are consistently met and ad‑hoc requests can be delivered reliably and at speed.
  • Report on subscriber acquisition, churn and retention, with a strong understanding of how individual metrics or market trends influence overall performance.
  • Lead the development and ongoing maintenance of subscription and revenue forecasts, advising on key assumptions and commentary required for Finance.
  • Confidently communicate performance insights to senior stakeholders and respond to complex questions across all aspects of F1 TV.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the data collected and advise on how future product or operational changes may impact reporting, including mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee and define the scope of work for third‑party agencies supporting data science, modelling, forecasting, dashboard development and strategic insight.
  • Deliver high‑visibility reporting to senior stakeholders, ensuring accuracy, clarity and timeliness.

About You

  • 5+ years in analytics role – client or agency side.
  • Experience working with subscription model businesses.
  • Deep understanding of subscription models and recurring revenue dynamics, including how they influence performance and strategy.
  • Exposure to forecasting and FP&A analytics, with the ability to support financial planning even if not a core specialism.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and data modelling, with the ability to work across large datasets and complex structures.
  • Strong capability in dashboard design, with a focus on usability, clarity and performance.
  • Experience managing third‑party agencies, delivering high‑quality outputs under senior stakeholder scrutiny.
  • Strong and pragmatic problem‑solving skills, with the ability to make decisions in uncertain environments and maintain a solution‑oriented mindset.
