We are looking for a Accreditation Coordinator to join our exciting team based in Biggin Hill.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Reporting day to day to Accreditation Manager and integral to the organisation of accreditation processes and supporting the overall accreditation operation
- Coordinate the end-to-end accreditation process, including detailed checks, assembly and the distribution of accreditation
- Liase with teams, media, sponsors, FIA and other stakeholders to understand their accreditation needs and ensure timely processing
- Assist with Management System training for external account managers
- Maintain and update the accreditation database, allocations and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality
- Oversee all Accreditation mailboxes, Microsoft Teams channels, and the accreditation system. Approve pass requests in accordance with the guidelines established by the Accreditation Manager
- Assist with on-site accreditation operations during events, including the setup and running of accreditation system and turnstiles.
- Provide support to accredited personnel, resolving any issues or queries related to their credentials
- Generate reports on accreditation turnstile data, across all zones at each event
- Coordinate the packing and unloading of freight, manage incoming deliveries, and handle outgoing DHL shipments.
About You
- 1 year + experience in events or a related field (desirable but not essential)
- Strong administrative capabilities, with solid proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility to resolve issues outside standard working hours
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Willingness and ability to learn basic printer setup and troubleshooting
- A proactive team player with the ability to work independently
- Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information
- First-rate customer service skills
- A flexible and adaptable work ethic
- Comfortable and confident with international travel
