Role Overview:
The Licensing Executive will sit in the Licensing & Gaming department to drive commercial upside and engage fans with Formula 1, through strong product and brand partners. This will involve supporting all partnerships within Formula 1’s existing Consumer Product licensing portfolio, including being the account lead for some licensees as well as supporting with new licensee development, in line with business objectives.
- Assist in the account management of key consumer product licensees, across a wide array of categories, including gaming equipment, toys & collectibles, apparel & accessories, personal care and publishing.
- Work with internal departments to better support licensees and ensure we can deliver revenue growth through those licensees.
- Liaise with F1 teams and other external stakeholders to support the licensing programme and maximise opportunities.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the development of the Licensing programme to deliver key objectives in fan engagement and revenue growth.
- Support the management of key licensees across consumer products, including product approvals, product launches, financial reporting and logistics, developing key partner relations to support continued growth.
- Develop a deep understanding of partner delivery timelines, commercial objectives, growth strategies and KPIs.
- Support the wider team in agreeing new partnerships and renewals through category research.
- Contribute to administrative responsibilities for the CP team including, upkeep of the Licensee/Prospect tracker, salesforce, processing of internal and external F1 product orders and other ad-hoc requests.
- Work with team and the internal Marketing team to identify fan engagement opportunities that promote licensed product, tracking and monitoring their performance and success.
- Coordinate product development and approvals with internal teams to manage product development from artwork through to final production samples for a wide array of categories.
- Produce presentations and other collateral that help the wider team monitor licensee performance as well as to present to prospects.
- Remain up to date with the latest industry developments and best practices and support in category deep-dives when required.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with partners and stakeholders.

Experience:
- Experience in the brand licensing industry, ideally working on consumer products is desirable.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (not essential to be successful in the role).
Knowledge & Skills:
- A solid understanding of the licensing ecosystem, ideally within the sports, entertainment, or lifestyle industries.
- Strong awareness of commercial partnership structures and licensing business models, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a commercial environment.
