We are looking for a Junior Motion Graphics Designer to join our Creative team. Reporting into our Head of Creative Studio and Senior Motion Graphics Design, this role will assist with the design and the build of creative motion graphics.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with the design and creation of exciting, dynamic and engaging graphics and treatments.
- Create 2D still and motion graphics to the instructions of the Senior Motion Graphics Designer.
- Work across various deliverables and specifications including broadcast content, corporate videos, digital/social and AV Screen installations.
- Adapt our graphics for optimization across the full breadth of Creative Studio projects.
- Work with Producers and other graphic designers to create engaging content that is technically sound and fit-for-purpose.
- Keep fully aware of styles and developments in high-end video production helping to make sure that our content is innovative and industry-leading.
- Ensure that projects are fully compliant with F1’s internal policies and procedures and brand guidelines.
What Are We Looking For?Personal Qualities
- Highly motivated and ambitious, keen to embrace new challenges.
- Adaptable to a variety of tasks and projects on a day-to-day basis.
- Solid understanding of design principles, with ability to accept instruction.
- Flexible – the role may require weekend, evening or night work.
Experience
- At least one year of experience designing motion graphics.
- Good knowledge of Adobe After Effects.
- Experience in 2D animation, camera tracking and rotoscoping.
- Knowledge of other Adobe software: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Lightroom.
- Ability to create scamps, storyboards and style frames.
- Proven ability of visualising creative concepts to an excellent standard.
- Solid understanding of design, layout and typography.
- Knowledge of Formula 1, both current and historical.
Some desirable experience that you may bring to the role:
- Experience in creating content for AV screens.
Qualifications
- At least an HND or equivalent qualification in Graphic Design.
