We are looking for a D365 Systems Administrator to join our IT department. Reporting into our IT Systems Manager, this role will maintain and manage the environments across Microsoft D365 Finance and Operations, and integrated Systems, in line with F1 business goals and objectives.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage the environments across D365 Finance & Operations and other integrated System Applications
- Work with F1 customisations and configurations to ensure that the D365 system is smooth running and optimised
- Subject matter expert in D365 Finance & Operations and support the team in operational management of the tool and infrastructure
- Develop, build and manage integrations with the system
- Create and maintain documents for IT systems and assist building on the documentation process within the department
- Drive innovation in IT, reviewing current technology offerings and identifying improvements within department responsibilities
- Manage projects through lifecycle, ensuring deadlines are met and stakeholders engaged throughout
- Implement new solutions and providing training to other technology teams including full documentation and walkthroughs
- Make appropriate changes and additions to the IT Systems infrastructure within Change management processes, adhering to SOX controls, ISO27001 and PCI-DSS
- Respond in a flexible and adaptive manner to supporting business requirements, when ad hoc requests are made
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues from a helpdesk and ensure these are managed through our incident management processes
- Implement security measures, perform security tests and ensure system integrity to maintain a secure IT operating environment for the business, including user roles and permissions management
- Produce root cause analysis reports in case of failures and issues and work alongside problem management processes
- Provide user support as necessary within the organisation, and act as point of escalation for other technology teams
- Be available to work on IT systems outside of usual ‘Business Hours’, both planned and unplanned
- Travel when required to Formula 1’s business sites and partners premises
- Keep abreast of developments in the IT Industry and consider proactively how these may be incorporated into the IT Systems Applications

Experience:
- Essential Knowledge of Microsoft D365 and Microsoft Azure
- Experience supporting Logic Apps, Power Apps and Power Automate designing, coding and implementing
- Knowledge and experience with developing and managing integration principles to Microsoft D365
- Scripting and automation skills using C# and Python
- Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric
- Basic knowledge and understanding of business finance processes
- Experience working with third parties and managing development items
- Good customer service, communication and team working skills
Some desirable experience that you may bring to the role:
- Experience working in a global organisation across different time zones
- Experience working within the sports/entertainment industries and working with major events
Qualifications:
- You will need to have a current UK driving license in this role
- Not essential to be successful in the role but you may also have the following qualifications: Degree, HND/C in IT related Subject or Industry recognised certifications in relevant subject categories
