We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Quality Inspection Team Leader to join the Formel D Operations team.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting to ensure customer containment and rework activities are successfully delivered on-time and at the right cost and quality.
- Supervising a team of permanent Quality Inspectors and temporary support requirements.
- Ensuring all team members are adequately trained and provided with necessary tools.
- Coordinating, organising, and executing quality containment and rework projects.
- Ensuring all acceptable parts are passed to or accepted on-line.
- Responsible for new employee onboarding and induction according to company standards.
- Training and setting standard requirements for the team on all quality inspection/reworking activities.
- Conducting random checks and audits to ensure process adherence and compliance with quality standards.
- Creating Statement of Work for all projects of reworking and Quality Inspection activities.
- Inspecting and reworking parts as required.
- Liaising directly with the OEM and Customers / Suppliers.
- Ensuring Timesheets are accurately delivered on-time.
- Advocating for minimisation of unnecessary waste.
- Supporting to ensure all accidents are reported on shift.
- Encouraging accident prevention and reporting near misses.
- Promoting continuous improvement and developing relationships with customers.
- Ensuring standard HR processes are followed to document and resolve employee performance issues.
Requirements:
- Experience working with OEMs and Suppliers in the Automotive industry.
- Proven experience in a similar position.
- Highly experienced in conducting and supporting Quality Audits.
- Exceptional leader and mentor.
- Experience working with ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval System).
- Good working knowledge of eQCC equipment.
- A keen eye for detail and good organisational skills.
- Knowledge of MS Office tools.
- Good communication skills and teamworking abilities.
- Adhering to all Company standard operating procedures and health and safety procedures.
- Clean UK or equivalent Driving Licence.
- Right to work in the UK without restrictions.
