We are seeking a skilled CMM Operator/Inspector to join our customers' dynamic team in the automotive sector. This role is crucial in ensuring precision and quality throughout our production processes.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to ensure accurate measurements
- Conduct regular inspections and tests on components to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Analyze measurement data and provide detailed reports on findings
- Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve measurement-related issues
- Develop and implement inspection plans for new products
Skills Required:
- Strong understanding of GD&T and drawing interpretation
- Able to operate 3D scanners using Polyworks software
- Able to operate and write CMM programmes using PCDMIS software for all manner of parts
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Familiarity with quality assurance methodologies and tools
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Proficiency in using CMM software and related measurement tools
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members
- Relevant certifications in quality control or measurement are preferred
