Team Leader, UK Quality Confirmation Centre (QCC) entry level supervisor

Reporting to: Senior Shift Leader (On-shift)
Shifts: 3 Shift Rotation
Pay rate: £13.50ph-£14.50ph

The UK QCC Team Leader (TL) will support to ensure customer containment and rework activities are successfully delivered on-time and at the right cost and quality ensuring customer expectations are met or exceeded at all times. The TL will supervise a team of Quality Inspectors plus from time to time there may be additional ad-hoc roles such as Mechanics, Electricians necessary.
For you to be successful in this position you will be responsible for the below, but not limited to:
- Support and conduct visual inspection within the QCC environment.
- Supervise a team of Quality Inspectors and any other ad-hoc roles.
- Support to ensure successful coordination, organisation and execution of quality containment and rework projects to protect the OEM’s production.
- Ensuring current and new employees are trained to applicable quality inspection and rework standards including the use of and application of eQCC (Formel D’s Electronic Data Management System, Training provided).
- Conduct random checks and audits to ensure process adherence and to ensure compliance with inspection results and quality standards.
- Coordinate quality control, rework and/or logistics.
- Ensure a smooth flow of materials.
- Support to ensure each project is delivered on-time, as budgeted and within scope by the team.
- Inspect and rework parts when required.
- Ensure eQCC is used for data capture for all inspection and rework projects.
- Liaise directly with the OEM and Customers/Suppliers (internal and external) as necessary.
- Support to ensure all working hours are sold to projects.
- Be an advocate to ensure unnecessary waste is kept to a minimum.

- Accidents: Support to ensure all accidents are reported in line with company standards.
- Accident Prevention: Support to ensure near misses are reported and encourage accident prevention and meeting monthly KPIs.
