We are looking for experienced Auto Electricians to work with one of our prestigious vehicle manufacturers based in Crewe.
Department: Vehicle Manufacturing-Engineering
Contract: 12 months rolling contract
Shift Pattern: Monday – Thursday 7am – 15:30pm, Friday 7am – 12am
Pay Rate: £23.00ph
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for reviewing the software within the vehicles
- Clean up vehicle after rectification
- Following work instructions according to the vehicle standards as provided
- Supporting a wide range of electrical/instrumentation with various units under tests (UUT’s) utilising an array of electrical equipment, wiring and sensors
- Diagnose electrical problems including fault-finding, rewiring and monitoring across the test field
- Conducting ECU software flashing and re-flashing
- Responsible for service, calibration, inspection and inventory management
- Responsible for reporting all defects and repairs or rework conducted
Requirements:
- Qualified in Level 3 in Electrical or Motor Vehicle Engineering
- PHEV qualified (IMI level 2 minimum)
- Experience within the Automotive Vehicle Manufacturing Industry
- Proven previous experience as an Auto Electrician
- Previous proven working experience with EV and PHEV Vehicles
- Proven experience with a wide range of small-scale cable and connector types
- Be able to resolve faults based on electrical drawings and schematics
- Working in a busy fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experienced in using reporting systems
- Good communication skills, teamworking abilities and initiative
- Adhering to all Company standard operating procedures
- Adhering to all health and safety procedures
- Working according to the company quality and housekeeping standards
- Must have Hi-Vis and safety footwear
- Clean UK or equivalent Driving Licence
- RTW in the UK without restrictions (PLEASE NOTE WE DO NOT OFFER SPONSORSHIP)
