They are now seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to support day-to-day operations, lead and motivate the warehouse team, and ensure an efficient, high-quality service for customers.

- Proven experience managing or supervising a team in a warehouse or logistics environment
- Strong knowledge of warehousing, distribution, and supply chain processes
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and safe working practices
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and adaptable to changing priorities
- Resilient, pragmatic, and capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines
- Strong leadership presence — credible, approachable, and able to lead by example
What will your role look like?
- Manage, motivate, and lead Warehouse Team Members to achieve high performance levels
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all health and safety requirements
- Conduct MHE checks, report faults, and ensure all incidents are investigated promptly
- Organise and confirm daily labour in consultation with the Warehouse Manager
- Monitor attendance, timekeeping, and performance of all team members
- Maintain depot hygiene and ensure a clean, safe, and efficient working environment
- Report operational issues and recommend improvements to the Warehouse Manager
- Control and maintain the WMS system, ensuring accurate stock and order data
- Oversee order picking accuracy and achieve daily KPIs, including Orders per FTE and Picking Errors
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of warehouse team members
- Liaise with internal teams, including transport, purchasing, and customer service
- Ensure IT equipment and materials are properly issued, maintained, and logged
