KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- To ensure that you follow all Brand Standards that are in place.
- To ensure that excellent customer service is given at all times to support driving customer service levels.
- To attend to guest requirements as and when necessary.
- To assist guests with their luggage as and when necessary.
- To run errands as and when needed.
- To ensure that conference rooms are laid out as instructed in a timely and efficient manner.
- To ensure that the reception desk and area are kept clean and tidy.
- Public Area cleaning as and when required.
- To run the F&B areas for in house guests of an evening.
- Act as Fire Officer and respond quickly and efficiently should alarm sound.
- To ensure effective communication with the housekeeping team regarding guests, room status reports and VIPs who may require additional products.
- To liaise with Front of House Manager and other Heads of Departments as and when necessary to provide the best possible service to guests.
- Ensure confidentiality for guests and not to approach any such guests for personal requests such as autograph signing.
- To run the night audit through the PMS system and to balance the daily business.
- You love working nights.
- 3 – 5 years of experience in at least an Assistant Manager role within the hospitality industry.
- You are a great role model, inspiring your team to strive for excellence.
- You drive a high-performance culture, setting clear expectations, empowering your team, and holding them accountable.
- You are a critical, strategic thinker, evaluating the changing context, challenging the way things are done and driving continuous improvement.
- You can work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and be confident in making important decisions.
- Knowledge of Opera.
- Ability to work shifts – night shift is 10.30 pm to 7 am.
