As Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, you play a key supporting role in delivering smooth day‑to‑day F&B operation across the resort. This includes restaurants, bars, meetings & events, and weddings. This role is ideal for a passionate hospitality professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is looking to develop their leadership career. Working closely with the Food & Beverage Manager, you will play a key role in the day‑to‑day operation of the department, ensuring high standards of service, team engagement, and commercial performance.

What You’ll Do

  • Operations
    • Support the smooth running of all F&B outlets including restaurant, bar, weddings and meetings & events
    • Lead shifts, ensuring service standards are consistently delivered
    • Actively manage service periods, resolving any operational challenges promptly
  • Team Leadership
    • Supervise and support supervisors and front‑line team members
    • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training
    • Drive team engagement, performance, and a positive working culture
    • Conduct briefings and ensure clear communication across shifts
  • Guest Experience
    • Deliver a visible and proactive presence on the floor
    • Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally and efficiently
    • Ensure all guest interactions reflect the company’s service standards
  • Financial & Commercial
    • Support cost control measures including labour, stock, and wastage
    • Assist in achieving departmental revenue targets through upselling and promotions
    • Monitor stock levels and support ordering processes
  • Compliance & Standards
    • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations
    • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service
    • Support internal and external audits where required
  • Events & Functions
    • Assist in the coordination and delivery of meetings, conferences, and events
    • Work closely with the kitchen and events teams to ensure seamless service, consistent delivery of high guest satisfaction scores across all F&B outlets
    • Strong control of payroll and cost of sales in line with budget expectations
    • Well‑executed weddings and events with positive guest feedback
    • High team engagement, retention, and development within the department
    • A visible, hands‑on leadership presence across the operation
    • Continuous improvement in service standards and operational efficiency
