About the role
Provide physiotherapy advice, assessment, treatment and education to patients across 6 monthly rotations covering musculoskeletal out-patients, hand unit, neuro out-patients, pulmonary rehabilitation, cardiac rehabilitation, stroke rehabilitation, in-patient medicine, respiratory wards and critical care.
Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose and design individualized treatment plans for patients within designated rotations.
- Deliver manual and exercise therapy, monitor progress and adapt plans accordingly.
- Participate in 7-day on-call for respiratory wards.
- Maintain accurate and evidence-based clinical records.
- Supervise support workers, collaborate with multidisciplinary team, and support professional development.
- Adhere to HCPC standards, clinical governance, and risk management.
- Provide patient education and discharge advice.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma/Degree in Physiotherapy.
- Registered with HCPC.
- Clinical placement or relevant experience in acute physiotherapy settings.
- Good communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
- Ability to handle moderate physical effort and manage demanding patient situations.
- Commitment to flexible working, including weekend / on-call shifts.
