Contract: Permanent full-time (37.5 hours per week, on-call and weekend)

Pay: £31,049 – £37,796 per annum (Band 5)

About the role

Provide physiotherapy advice, assessment, treatment and education to patients across 6 monthly rotations covering musculoskeletal out-patients, hand unit, neuro out-patients, pulmonary rehabilitation, cardiac rehabilitation, stroke rehabilitation, in-patient medicine, respiratory wards and critical care.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose and design individualized treatment plans for patients within designated rotations.
  • Deliver manual and exercise therapy, monitor progress and adapt plans accordingly.
  • Participate in 7-day on-call for respiratory wards.
  • Maintain accurate and evidence-based clinical records.
  • Supervise support workers, collaborate with multidisciplinary team, and support professional development.
  • Adhere to HCPC standards, clinical governance, and risk management.
  • Provide patient education and discharge advice.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma/Degree in Physiotherapy.
  • Registered with HCPC.
  • Clinical placement or relevant experience in acute physiotherapy settings.
  • Good communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to handle moderate physical effort and manage demanding patient situations.
  • Commitment to flexible working, including weekend / on-call shifts.
