Role Description
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Service Controller for a full-time, on-site position in Ipswich. The Service Controller will manage the scheduling and coordination of service engineers to ensure swift and effective responses to customer requirements. Primary responsibilities include preparing job schedules, liaising with customers to arrange maintenance, overseeing service calls, maintaining accurate records and financial reports, and ensuring collaboration across service support staff to deliver excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate service data and optimize operational efficiency.
- Proficiency in finance and financial reporting to manage and interpret service costs effectively.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles to handle invoicing and budget management.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for managing customer interactions and coordinating team activities.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in service control or coordination, preferably in the material handling or related industry, is advantageous.
- Proficiency in service management software and MS Office Suite is preferred.
