We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Service Controller for a full-time, on-site position in Ipswich. The Service Controller will manage the scheduling and coordination of service engineers to ensure swift and effective responses to customer requirements. Primary responsibilities include:
- Preparing job schedules
- Liaising with customers to arrange maintenance
- Overseeing service calls
- Maintaining accurate records and financial reports
- Ensuring collaboration across service support staff to deliver excellent customer service
Qualifications:
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate service data and optimize operational efficiency
- Proficiency in finance and financial reporting to manage and interpret service costs effectively
- Solid understanding of accounting principles to handle invoicing and budget management
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for managing customer interactions and coordinating team activities
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in service control or coordination, preferably in the material handling or related industry, is advantageous
- Proficiency in service management software and MS Office Suite is preferred
