What you’ll be doing:
- All aspects of leadership and management of a team of Income Officers, Welfare Benefit Officers, and Money Advisors; providing an effective and proactive income collection service which is target driven.
- Supporting the Head of Income Maximisation to develop and implement income management strategies, ensuring best practice and meeting regulatory requirements.
- Building and maintaining positive internal and external partnerships, promoting interagency collaboration.
- Overseeing court activity related to income collection and contributing to effective budget management.
- Ensuring tenancy sustainability through relevant support and risk management, maintaining a customer‑focussed approach.
- Driving continuous service improvement.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in a similar role, as a leader in social housing.
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation including Income Management and Money advice.
- CIH membership and a relevant housing qualification/degree would be ideal.
