What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing and monitoring services delivered by the Income Maximisation team.
  • Supporting the Income Managers to review and implement management strategies and action plans.
  • Identifying opportunities for training and carrying this out, within the team and across the wider organisation.
  • Reviewing cases and ensuring compliance with our management assurance framework.
  • Coordinating appropriate and timely responses to tenant complaints, comments, and compliments.
  • Supporting Income Managers with collating, analysing, and preparing reports relating to the service.
  • Deputising for Income Managers.

What we’re looking for:

  • Excellent communications skills.
  • Experience in the housing sector, and knowledge of relevant housing legislation and current social housing issues.
  • Line management experience, managing a large, dispersed team.
  • Knowledge of universal credit and other welfare benefits, and experience supporting people with multiple debts.
