What you’ll be doing:
- Managing and monitoring services delivered by the Income Maximisation team.
- Supporting the Income Managers to review and implement management strategies and action plans.
- Identifying opportunities for training and carrying this out, within the team and across the wider organisation.
- Reviewing cases and ensuring compliance with our management assurance framework.
- Coordinating appropriate and timely responses to tenant complaints, comments, and compliments.
- Supporting Income Managers with collating, analysing, and preparing reports relating to the service.
- Deputising for Income Managers.
What we’re looking for:
- Excellent communications skills.
- Experience in the housing sector, and knowledge of relevant housing legislation and current social housing issues.
- Line management experience, managing a large, dispersed team.
- Knowledge of universal credit and other welfare benefits, and experience supporting people with multiple debts.
