We support people with chronic medical symptoms but no diagnosis who are lost in the health system. This is a major problem causing personal suffering and wasted resources. We are looking for a volunteer with fundraising experience to help our multidisciplinary charity.
Responsibilities:
- Help support and shape our work and strategic direction.
- Build resources, deliver education and undertake research.
- Assist with fundraising to bring more structure, organisation and funding to the charity.
Qualifications:
- Enthusiastic, proactive, lateral thinker, reliable and positive to have around.
- Charity fundraising experience.
- Interest in and familiarity with health issues.
- Online research skills and computer literacy.
- Good English writing and grammar.
- General office and administration experience.
- Knowledge of good practice e.g. data protection / GDPR, health and safety, etc.
- An interest in medical matters and a desire to help patients and families, while supporting Healthcare Professionals in the difficult work they do.
- Enthusiastic, visionary yet realistic and pragmatic.
- Easy to work with, proactive, a friend to our charity.
- Experience in helping a small charity with fundraising and everything that goes with that role.
