Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - Doncaster
Salary: 40,000 - 45,000 (DOE) | Location: Doncaster | Shift: Monday-Friday |3 Shift Pattern | 8 hour shifts (only occasional nights).
We re recruiting on behalf of a well-established heavy manufacturing site in Doncaster for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team.
This is a genuinely mechanical-led role so roughly 80% mechanical, 20% electrical with experience on sensor replacement, basic fault-finding.
You ll be working on large-scale industrial process equipment, including hydraulically-driven machinery.
What we re looking for: * Strong mechanical maintenance background, ideally within heavy process manufacturing (extrusion, foundry, metals, heavy fabrication, or similar) * Basic to good working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics * Comfortable with light electrical maintenance tasks * Experience working in a shift-based environment, Monday-Friday This is a rare opportunity to join a genuinely stable, Monday-Friday shift pattern with minimal night work, a good opportunity engineers looking to step away from permanent rotating shifts.
