We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established heavy manufacturing site in Doncaster for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team. This is a genuinely mechanical-led role, so roughly 80% mechanical and 20% electrical, with experience in sensor replacement and basic fault-finding. You will be working on large-scale industrial process equipment, including hydraulically-driven machinery.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong mechanical maintenance background, ideally within heavy process manufacturing (extrusion, foundry, metals, heavy fabrication, or similar)
- Basic to good working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
- Comfortable with light electrical maintenance tasks
- Experience working in a shift-based environment, Monday-Friday
This is a rare opportunity to join a genuinely stable, Monday-Friday shift pattern with minimal night work, a good opportunity for engineers looking to step away from permanent rotating shifts.
