Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Maintenance Engineer role based between both our sites at Newton Abbot and Exeter (transport between sites provided, applicants must hold a valid UK driving licence).

The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment and facilities to minimise downtime and support safe, efficient operations.

Day-to-day tasks include conducting routine inspections, performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults, and implementing corrective actions.

The role also involves collaborating with production and quality teams to support continuous improvement, maintaining accurate maintenance records, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

The Maintenance Engineer will contribute to equipment upgrades and process improvements as Forgeway continues to develop advanced manufacturing capabilities.
