Forge are recruiting a Skilled Operative for a secure prison project, on behalf of our client. The role is due to start on June 8th and is a 16‑week temporary contract paid at £18 per hour. The role includes assisting with the installation of windows, so you’ll need to be confident using a combi / impact drill. Plus the usual lifting, shifting, tidying duties you would expect on any site.
Key Responsibilities
- General labouring duties - lifting, shifting materials, site support
- Using hand and power tools - confident with combi drill and impact drill
- Keeping work areas clean and safe
- Supporting site teams, general assistance of supervisors and trades as required
- Following safety protocols
- Assisting with window installation - supporting trades during fitting and fixing
Requirements
- EL1 Clearance, must be in place. At this time, we're unable to put anyone through this
- Previous labouring and multiskill experience required
- Right to work in the UK
- Awareness to work on a secure prison site
