This position is responsible for playing the critical role in managing and overseeing renewable energy projects with proper communication and post‑sales customer support, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

The candidate must have a strong understanding of renewable energy projects, renewable energy technology, and manufacturing processes. This position will report to the Vice President of Sales and require the ability to lead cross‑functional teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and drive results in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning & Execution: Lead the renewable energy project planning and execution. Successfully host internal and external kickoff meetings with defined project scope, goals, and deliverables, and ensure the project remains on time and within budget.
  • Team Leadership: Coordinate and manage cross‑functional teams, including engineering, production, quality control, and supply chain, ensuring alignment to the executed contract. Lead project meetings and provide clear direction and guidance to team members.
  • Stakeholder Management: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, clients, suppliers, and contractors, to ensure alignment and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and obstacles, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively resolve issues to keep projects on track while maintaining constant communication with the customer.
  • Quality Control & Compliance: Oversee quality control processes to ensure all manufacturing standards meet the contract requirements. Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure products meet industry standards and customer expectations.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Provide regular status updates and detailed reports to senior management and the customer on project progress, milestones, and any changes to scope or timelines. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and technical specifications.
  • Customer Support: Act as the post‑sales main point of contact for customers to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required preferably in Engineering, Environmental Science, Project Management, Business Administration or a related field.
  • A PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on renewable energy, clean tech, or a related industry.
  • Minimum 1 to 3 years in the renewable energy industry is required.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing projects from contract execution through completion, with an ability to manage complex manufacturing and project timelines and budgets.
  • Demonstrated experience navigating complex situations in a fast changing internal and external environment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners.
  • Strong customer focus with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and NetSuite or similar CRM.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
