Main Purpose of Job: Fettling parts to achieve the required quality standard. Assemble / disassemble tools.
Key Tasks and Accountabilities:
- Fettle parts to the agreed standard.
- Fixing tools into press.
- Taking tools out of press.
- Fill in tool log data.
- Putting dies on warming pan adhering to forge plan.
- Daily adherence to work to list and dock plan.
- Adherence to EHS policies.
- Complete daily equipment pre-use checks in line with EHS policy.
- Any other duties as required.
Knowledge and Aptitude required:
- Able to work under pressure and achieve targets.
- Flexibility.
- Can-do attitude, self-motivated.
- Attention to detail.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Previous fettling experience / tool fitting would be beneficial.
- Forklift truck license.
- Overhead crane license.
