The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 € per year.

Machine forgings and tooling to specified drawings across both manual and CNC machining centers. The parts machined feed both the commercial and aerospace markets.

Key Objectives of the Role

  • H&S – Work in a safe and responsible manner (for own and other people’s safety).
  • Conduct any pre-shift H&S checks as specified; for example: Hoist Crane.
  • Maintain a high standard of workplace housekeeping (5s Duties).
  • Ensure ALL Quality procedures and processes are followed.
  • Machine parts to drawing.
  • Use measuring equipment (Micrometers, Vernier, Wall Thickness Meter, Surface Roughness gauge).
  • Material Movements.
  • Prepare cell for next job – materials, tools, drawings, route packs.
  • Check/change tips as required.
  • Check and monitor dimensions in process.
  • Load parts and unload parts.
  • Basic machine and coolant checks.
  • Complete cell production documentation and bookings.
  • Set the job and the machine parts.
  • Adjust offsets and tooling as required.
  • First off measurements.

The Applicant

Essential

  • Machining working under +/-0.05mm.
  • CNC Milling/Turning Experience.
  • Understanding Fanuc CNC Controls.
  • Attention to detail.

Desirable

  • Apprentice Trained – Mechanical Manufacturing or equivalent.
  • Read and understand drawings.
  • Experience with machining Forgings.
  • Manual Milling/Turning Experience.
  • Overhead Crane Training.
  • Abrasive Wheel Training.
  • Forklift license to RTITB/ITSSAR or any other national accredited qualification.
  • Overhead crane/lifting certification.
