Transport Operations Planner
Location: Coleshill, Birmingham
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000
Working Hours: Mon – Fri 1pm‑10pm plus 4/5 hours every other Sunday (remote option after training)
About the Role: We are looking for an organised and proactive Transport Operations Planner to join our client\’s transport team. You will plan and coordinate daily transport for a fleet of around 8 vehicles, ensuring smooth operations, compliance, and great customer service.
Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor fleet movements for 20‑23 vehicles
- Liaise with drivers, customers and warehouse teams
- Ensure transport compliance and maintain accurate paperwork
- Support continuous improvement and team performance
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to transportation
Qualifications
- Previous transport planning/operations experience
- Strong knowledge of transport/driver compliance
