Transport Operations Planner

Location: Coleshill, Birmingham

Salary: £30,000 – £35,000

Working Hours: Mon – Fri 1pm‑10pm plus 4/5 hours every other Sunday (remote option after training)

About the Role: We are looking for an organised and proactive Transport Operations Planner to join our client\’s transport team. You will plan and coordinate daily transport for a fleet of around 8 vehicles, ensuring smooth operations, compliance, and great customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and monitor fleet movements for 20‑23 vehicles
  • Liaise with drivers, customers and warehouse teams
  • Ensure transport compliance and maintain accurate paperwork
  • Support continuous improvement and team performance
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to transportation

Qualifications

  • Previous transport planning/operations experience
  • Strong knowledge of transport/driver compliance
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Can‑do attitude and attention to detail
